PRIVACY

Privacy by design.

AdoptVilla separates public animal information from private account, application and verification information.

What may be public

Approved animal profile fields, approximate city, service-directory information explicitly marked public and verification scope supplied by the backend.

What stays private

Exact home addresses, private contact details, application answers, proof documents, internal identifiers, moderation notes and private welfare evidence are not intended for public pages.

Browser storage

The frontend stores only limited non-sensitive preferences such as saved-pet IDs and Davo launcher position. Sensitive multi-step form drafts use session storage only where a draft is needed for the current browser session.

Private access

Account information and private evidence are protected by account and reviewer permissions. Public listing photographs are accessible to anyone with their link; upload identity and private care documents only through the private evidence fields.

Security checks

Server-side rate limits and abuse controls protect account forms and assistance requests.

Davo AI processing

When you use Davo, the message you enter and a limited recent conversation history are sent to Google Gemini so the assistant can generate a response. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal, payment, medical or identity-document information in AI chat. AdoptVilla applies request limits and should retain only the minimum security/usage data needed to operate the service.
